This morning the birds were not only singing, they were knocking!I awoke to this adult woodpecker teaching it's little one how to find food, after watching them for about 10 minutes it occurred to me I should get my camera out.
As you can see by the photos the adult finally ended up feeding the baby, it was more interested in hopping around and playing in the wood chips at the base of the tree stump.
I will try to get some better photos of the two of them next time they are here.
